Well, friends. I successfully avoided the cinnamon rolls. The breakfast was abysmal, but I managed to stick to protein. Great salads for lunch and decent dinners. The first night, we ended up at Popeye’s where there are zero entrees that aren’t deep fried. That was the worst of it, though.
I’m waiting for my flight right now, eating celery with dip, olives, and cheese, and looking forward to getting home. Oh, how I’m looking forward to home. As work trips go, 2 days isn’t bad, and it was actually nice to be in a bed instead of a futon matress on the floor (which is how I’ve been managing to live a one-floor lifestyle with my injury). Still, though, home will be a delight.

Days since I’ve had not-allowed carbs: Zero. I did pretty well, but had to give in a little at lunch if i wanted any protein.
